Peter had two singing brothers, Eden Kane, a teenage pop idol and Clive Sarstedt, with both of whom he also recorded and performed as The Sarstedt Brothers. Although his music was classified as pop, it generally encompassed ballads derived from traditional folk music rather than traditional rock and roll. He died in 2017 and is best remembered for writing and performing "Where Do You Go To (My Lovely)?" This song topped the UK Singles Chart in 1969 . It was a great pleasure to speak with Peter over the airwaves on 12th September 2007

Subsequently, he had a minor hit with "Avenues and Alleyways" which reached number 37, and was the theme to the television series The Protectors. Tony tells us a great story about Amarillo.
Kingsize Taylor RIP January 2023
Kingsize Taylor was an absolute legend on Merseyside and early in 2023 we sadly lost this great man. I was fortunate enough to arrange a few podcast interviews with Teddy and loved talking with him. The Ruby Murray Story with Bernie Burgess
Ruby Florence Murray was a Northern Irish singer. She was the Madonna of the 1950s and one of the most popular singers in the UK. She had ten hits in the UK Singles Chart between 1954 and 1959. She also made pop chart history in March 1955 by having five hits in the Top Twenty in a single week. Helen Kate Shapiro is a British pop and jazz singer and actress. While still a teenager in the early 1960s, she was one of Britain's most successful female singers. With a voice described by AllMusic as possessing "the maturity and sensibilities of someone far beyond their teen years",Helen Shapiro recorded two 1961 UK chart toppers, "You Don't Know" and "Walkin' Back to Happiness", when she was just fourteen years old. I can't remember how this interview came about but it was a real pleasure to talk with Helen about her Gospel Outreach. Helen gave us a great insight to her early days and a priviliged insight to her beliefs. It is always so interesting to see how famous people find their faith and Helen was open and honest in what she developing after such a great career in music.
Here's a very interesting podcast with my friend Mel Castle explaining his links to Helen Shapiro and life around Carnaby Street with some awesome memories and even Boy George and Paul Weller thrown in for good measure.........
Emile Ford told me he was first and foremost a sound scientist and secondly he was a Number One hit-maker. He told me he had a special condition which encouraged him to live his life trying to create the best sound in the world. He had been involved with some of the biggest names in show business. I first met Emile in Cornwall around 1990 and he became a personal friend.
Vince met up with Emile Ford on Wednesday 8th July 2009 when Emile explained that he had been creating his wonderful sound for such great stars as Michael Jackson, Abba, Bruce Sprinsteen, Dionne Warwick, Aretha Franklin and the artistes who competed in the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest. His destiny has been to create his wonderful sound. The podcast is an insight into his wonderful life.

John Leyton spoke to VInce on Onda Cero Radio about his career on Monday 27th August 2007. John Dudley Leyton is an English actor and singer. As a singer he is best known for his hit song "Johnny Remember Me", which reached number one in the UK Singles Chart in August 1961 despite being banned by the BBC for its death references. His follow-up single, "Wild Wind", reached number two in the charts. John told me about his career and explained how he went to drama school before joining a repertory company in York. In the podcast John told me a lot about his early influences.
David Garrick with the hit Mrs Applebee
This is the fantastic story of a lesser known Liverpool artiste who was an opera singer well before the pop world embraced opera singers in a big way. David toured Europe but had done theatre dates with Gene Pitney, the Troggs and the Kinks. David found a lot of his success in Germany before coming back to the UK where he performed around the cabaret clubs. He also found success in South Africa and Egypt despite feeling that many artistes of the 60s had been outsmarted by managers and agents. He found great success in the 90s in Holland and resurgent in Germany. It is a compelling story and David told me how the groups reacted to him singing opera in the famous Liverpool Cavern.
The Story of the Birth of the Beatles
Great podcast with Mike and Bernadette Byrne from the early days when Bernadette knew George and Paul and Mike sang with Them Grimbles and The Roadrunners to their dream about a Beatles Tourist attraction in Liverpool
